Luis Fernando Turizo Zapata

PhD candidate at IDAEA-CSIC, researching semiconductor manufacturing from a resource and environmental perspective. My research includes mass balances, material flow analysis, environmental assessment, and recovery of critical raw materials.

I hold a BSc in Chemistry from Universidad de Antioquia and an MSc in Sustainable Processes from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. My previous work has involved the synthesis and characterization of materials for industrial applications, 3D printing of adsorbents for lithium recovery, and sustainability assessment.
